GN Solids Control manufactures different types of solids and liquid separation treating systems. Last month, GN Solids Control provided 3 sets of automatic tank cleaning systems for South American customers and Middle Eastern customers.
GN Automatic Tank Cleaning System is also short for GN ATC, it’s popular in tank cleaning area. As close loop treating system, GN ATC system can help to oil tanks, mud tanks, and chemicals tanks as well as slurry tanks. Here are the main treating components in GN ATC:
A filter device is used in front of the suction pump. GN suction pump is used to suck the dirty water from a mud tank bottom.
2.Inclined Plate Clarifier
Inclined plate clarifier is a cost-effective treating equipment to separate solids from the sludge. Multiple slant plates inside the IPC are used to increase the contact area with the mud. Plates are made of Stainless Steel or high quality composite material.
A small screw conveyor is fixed on the bottom of the IPC, solids fall to the bottom can be transferred by the bottom screw conveyor. A membrane pump is fixed closed to the screw conveyor discharge port to suck settled solids.
A storage tank is used to stock the mud over flow from the IPC. It’s also a buffer tank to keep the clean water which can be used to clean dirty mud tank.
4.High Pressure Discharge Pump
GN high pressure discharge pump can provide 8 bar pressure. Higher pressure pump such as 14 bar can be also provided.
5.Chemical Dosing Unit
A chemical dosing unit with 2 sets 1000 L/H dosing pumps to provide chemicals to IPC. By adding flocculants, IPC is able to eliminate those finer solids or particles.
GN Automatic Tank Cleaning System is a compact treating unit. Users can put if on a flat bed truck to move among different sites.
