GN Solids Control just delivered one set of hydrovac truck slurry treating unit to one Seattle, USA customer. Our engineers went to their worksite in the past 2 weeks to help this customer setup this slurry treating unit.
GN engineers connected those pipes and wires between different systems. Tested run all the control panel to make sure every treating unit run well. Later, this customer will receive some slurry or waste soil collected from various work sites by using hydrovac truck.
Here are the main components of GN hydrovac trucking treating unit:
1. GN Hi-Cap Shaker
GN Hi-Cap shaker is the first phase treating unit, which is fixed under one large feeding hopper. GN feeding hopper collects all the slurry discharged from hydrovac waste and keep those large solids like rocks, stones, gloves etc from falling on the hi-cap shaker.
A small tank is fixed underground, it’s used to fix GN hi-cap shaker. One submersible pump in this tank sucks the slurry treated by hi-cap shaker and feeds it into GN finer shaker.
By using large G force which upto 8.0G, GN finer shaker fixed with opening mesh shaker screens to separate out large solids treated after hi-cap shaker.
3. GN Desilter
GN desilter is the third phase treating unit, which includes one bottom shaker and 8 sets 4 inch desilter cyclones.
4. GN Shaker Tank
GN finer shaker and GN desilter are all fixed on the top pf the shaker tank. 2 mud agitators are also fixed in order to protect the slurry from sediment. In order to increase the treating volume, GN finer shaker and GN desilter are all fixed with opening mesh shaker screens.
One screw pump fixed in the shaker tank is used to feed the slurry into GN decanter centrifuge. Solids particles around 5 microns can be separated out. One set of dosing unit is also provided in order to separate out those finer solids.
