GN Solids Control just finished the manufacturing of one whole set mining slurry treatment system for one Vietnam customer. As the leading manufacturer on solids control equipment and waste management treating systems, GN Solids Control has provided products to over 70 countries.
In the mining area, some customers use high pressure water to wash ores, due to those finer particles are also very expensive, they also need to recycle small particles. This GN mining slurry treating system is used to recycle expensive particles. It’s mainly includes the following three parts:
Shale shake is one of the most common used treating equipment for solids and liquid separation. By using the large G force (up to 8.0 G), slurry are separated out on the shale shaker screens due to the gravity differences between solid and liquid. GN Solids Control manufactures thousands of shaker screens every month. Many replacement screens are used on Mi-Swaco, Derrick, NOV, FSI and Kemtron shale shakers.
GN centrifuge is the second treating phase. After treating by GN Hi-G shaker, solids larger than 100 microns can be separated out, while the smaller solids or particles need to be further treated by using GN 10 inch or 4 inch cyclones. Sometime, GN decanter centrifuges are used directly to separated out those particles larger than 2~5 microns. Here GN recommends to use one 18 inch rotating bowl centrifuge, which is GNW452. GN centrifuges are widely used in various area, many large customers such as Shell, Baker Hughes or Bariod are using GN centrifuges.
3. GN Mud Tank
GN Hi-G shaker and centrifuge are all mounted on the mud tank. And there is also one screw feeding pump (feed decanter centrifuge) fixed on the side tank.
With this compact design, GN mining slurry treating system can be moved easily among different sites.
