Environmental System for Creating Value in Drilling Process

GN liquid solids separation system is capable of removing the solids from slurry down to 5 microns. Throughput capacity is from 150 GPM to 3000GPM system. There is no batching involved, nor is any chemical requirement.

Stage One-Slurry is passed through a linear motion shale shaker to remove large gravel, sand, solids, particle and foreign material. GN pre-tensioned shaker screen has the larger API number screen for separating big solids.

Stage Two- Drilling fluids which has the above material removed, now flow through the first set of 10 inch desander hydrocyclones to separate the finer sands and coarser silts. The underflow from the hydrocyclones is deposited on an linear motion shale shaker screen for drying. Screen selection is adequate to dry the above silts and sands. Cuts are down to 40 microns.

Stage Three- The slurry which has the above material above, now passes through a second host of 4 inch hydrocyclones to make the final cut which includes the fine silts and non-hydrate clays. The underflow from these hydrocyclone is deposited on a linear motion shaker screen for drying. Cuts are down to 20 um. The phase described above is performed in a continuous.

Stage Four- The slurry is now passing through a decanter centrifuge as a last stage. Cuts will be down to a 2~5 microns. Capacity of centrifuge is 132 GPM, 352GPM and 400GPM for a variety of applications.
