GN Centrifuge Features

Our centrifuge bowls are crafted from duplex stainless steel, specifically SS2205 or SS2304, utilizing centrifugal casting techniques that provide superior performance compared to traditional SS304 or SS316 materials. The solids discharge port features inserts made of tungsten carbide, a durable, anti-abrasive material designed to enhance the longevity of the equipment. The depth of the centrifuge pond can be adjusted to accommodate various material separation needs. An air-operated spring mechanism aids in opening the cover, complemented by a safety locking system for added protection. The screw is constructed from heat-treated stainless steel, and the designed opening impeller boosts the centrifuge's capacity. Clients can choose between a single or double lead screw configuration. Dual motors positioned on one side facilitate greater access for maintenance activities. We use premium SKF bearings to ensure reliability and prolonged operational efficiency. Additionally, an automatic lubrication system can be offered as an optional feature.

GN Centrifuges in the Beverage and Wine-Making Industry

Centrifuges play a crucial role in modern winemaking, offering numerous benefits throughout the grape processing stages. By utilizing a centrifuge, winemakers can clarify juice immediately after pressing, significantly reducing the need for lengthy racking processes, which helps preserve juice quality and minimizes oxidation. This mechanical clarification enhances product consistency and quality while eliminating the need for chemical additives like flocculants.

Centrifuges also provide operational efficiencies, allowing winemakers to control the separation of materials in real-time and optimize yields. They facilitate the removal of leftover yeast and particulates after fermentation, which can also help in producing sweet wines by halting fermentation precisely when desired. Furthermore, the self-cleaning capabilities of centrifuges reduce downtime and simplify maintenance. With advanced models that feature hermetic sealing, these centrifuges ensure minimal oxygen exposure, safeguarding the wine's unique character. Overall, centrifuges are essential for maximizing efficiency and quality in larger-scale winemaking operations.
