GN Solids Control has one set of oil sludge treating systems stocking in China manufacture plant. This oil sludge treating system is especially designed to treat oil sludge from oil tank bottom, refinery plant, drilling waste cuttings etc. Actually, any oil sludge has a large viscosity and high solids and oil content can be treated by GN Oil Sludge Treating System.
After treated by GN Oil Sludge Treating System, oil on solids can be reduced to 1-2% by GN decanter centrifuge, and recovered oil only contains BS&W around 2-3% from the 3 phase centrifuge, also the recovered water is around 500 to 1000 ppm. 50 to 100 ppm oil content in the recovered water can be achieved when use additional water treating equipment.
In this GN Oil Sludge Treating System, it mainly includes the following treating equipment:
1.GN Pre-treating Shaker
GN Pre-treating Shaker is the first step to remove most of those larger solids. Solids over than 100 microns can be separated out by GN shaker first. Here the shaker is fixed on the top of the heating and mixing tank, agitators are used to dilute the oil sludge before feeding to GN centrifuge.
2.GN 2 Phase Decanter Centrifuge
Here GN 2 phase decanter centrifuge is used to remove solids larger than 2 - 5 microns. Usually, 2 phase decanter centrifuge can be feed oil sludge with up to 20% solids.
3.GN 3 Phase Disc-Centrifuge
After removed most of the solids by GN 2 phase centrifuge, a 3 phase disc-centrifuge is used to separate oil, water and solids.
4.GN Chemical Dosing Unit
In order to get the better treating result, a chemical dosing unit is used to provide chemicals into GN shaker tank, GN 2 phase decanter centrifuge and GN 3 phase disc-centrifuge.
