GN Solids Control has manufactured many sets of solids control and waste management systems for world customers. As one of the largest markets for GN Solids Control, last month GN Solids Control set up another oil sludge treating system in China. GN Solids Control made oil sludge system is mainly used to treat high density and large viscosity oil sludge such as oil sludge from refinery plant, oil tank bottom or drilling rig site. GN Solids Control has 3 different models of oil sludge treating systems includes 1 m3/h, 5 m3/h and 15 m3/h if classified by treating flow rate.
All GN oil sludge system can be customized to suit different sites well, and GN Solids Control is especially good at providing tailored whole treating systems. Last month, GN engineers finished the commissioning work for one of the Chinese large oil service company, they will use this 5 m3/h oil sludge system to treat the oil sludge collected from different drilling rigs.
It mainly includes the following treating components:
Oil sludge is transferred by GN Vacuum Pump, which is a very cost-effective pump. It can be effectively transfer sludge contains upto 80% solids content, and particles less than 75 mm can be transferred. During working, an air compressor will be used to provide power as the GN vacuum pump has no electrical motors.
2.GN Premixing and Heating Tank
Oil sluge is mixed and heating with chemicals in this tank, after diluted it will be feed into the shale shaker by submersible pump.
Shake is the first phase treating unit to eliminate all large solids in the oil sludge before feeding to decanter centrifuge.
4.GN 2 Phase Decanter Centrifuge
After treated by GN 2 phase decanter centrifuge, oil on the final solids is around 1~2%.
5.GN 3 Phase Disc Centrifuge
Oil, water and solids are separated by this 3 phase disc centrifuge, recovery oil has BS&W 2~3% and recovery water has 500-1000PPM oil content. 6.GN Chemical Dosing Unit Provide chemicals for the premixing tank, shaker tank and decanter centrifuge.
