IECEx Explosion Proof VFD Decanter Centrifuge for Middle East Client

GN Solids Control has successfully delivered an IECEx explosion proof VFD decanter centrifuge package to a client in the Middle East. The equipment is designed for Zone 1 hazardous areas in the oil and gas industry, ensuring safe and efficient operation under strict explosion-proof requirements.

The core equipment for this project is the GNLW363D-VFD decanter centrifuge, a 14-inch bowl unit equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD) control system. The VFD system allows operators to adjust the bowl speed, differential speed, and feed pump speed according to changing drilling conditions, maximizing separation performance and operational flexibility.

In addition to the centrifuge, GN Solids Control also supplied a customized support stand and a centrifuge feed pump. The support stand is engineered to ensure easy installation and maintenance access, while the feed pump is selected for stable slurry delivery, matching the centrifuge’s processing capacity.
