Oil sludge is a common byproduct generated during various stages of the oil and gas industry, primarily resulting from crude oil tank cleaning operations and wastes produced during refinery processes, drilling activities, and other operations. These processes are effective in reducing the oil content in the solids to below 0.3%, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and facilitating safe disposal.
