Sludge Dewatering Screw Press Package Ready for Shipment to European Client

GN Separation has recently completed the assembly and factory preparation of one complete sludge dewatering screw press package for a European client. The package includes a GNDL303 Sludge Dewatering Screw Press and a GNSJY3000 Chemical Dosing Unit, providing an integrated solution for efficient sludge conditioning and dewatering in wastewater treatment applications.
The GNDL303 screw press is designed for continuous sludge thickening and dewatering. During operation, conditioned sludge enters the dewatering section, where the slowly rotating screw conveys and compresses the sludge. The gradual reduction in screw pitch, together with the narrow gaps between fixed and moving rings, allows water to be separated while the solids are progressively concentrated and discharged as dewatered sludge cake. This extrusion-based process provides stable operation with relatively low energy consumption and low noise.

The GNSJY3000 Chemical Dosing Unit works together with the screw press to prepare and accurately dose polymer flocculants. Proper sludge conditioning helps fine suspended solids form larger and stronger flocs, improving solid-liquid separation and supporting more effective dewatering. GN’s chemical dosing systems can be configured for automatic polymer preparation, maturation, and dosing according to project requirements.

The integrated package is designed with a compact footprint and a high degree of automation, making it suitable for municipal wastewater treatment and various industrial sludge treatment applications. GN screw press systems are also known for continuous operation, low flushing-water consumption, and convenient maintenance.

Before shipment, GN Separation completes equipment assembly, inspection, and necessary factory testing to ensure the package is ready for installation and commissioning at the European client’s site.
