Two Sets No Dig Drilling Mud Systems Are Ready For Delivery

GN Solids Control manufactures various mud or slurry system for Do Dig Drilling, many GN standard or customized mud systems are widely used in HDD, Trenchless, Tunnel Boring or Bored Pile Drilling etc. GN standard mud systems include 200GPM, 350 GPM, 500 GPM and 1000 GPM. Customized systems based on customers’ demands can also be manufactured and provided.
This week, GN just finished the manufacturing of two sets high configuration mud systems for one HDD client. And they will be delivered to South America in the next several weeks.
Generally speaking, most of the no dig drilling mud systems are using desander or desilter to separate out the solids in the slurry, while for these two higher configuration mud systems, GN Solids Control provides two sets decanter centrifuges to do the further separation.
Here is the main solids control equipments in one sets GN HDD mud system:
1. GN Desander
GN Desander is the shaker assembled with 10 inch hydro cyclones. 10 inch cyclones are used to separate out solids larger than 50 microns which we called a two phase separation. Bottom shaker also helps to separate out those larger solids fall off from the cyclones bottom.
2. GN Desilter
GN Desilter is equipped with small hydro cyclones which are only 4 inch. The working principle is almost the same as the GN desander.
3. GN Decanter Centrifuge
Two GN decanter centrifuges are used for further separation which acts as a two phase separation. The first GNLW452 centrifuge is used to separate out most of those large solids with middle rotating speed, while the second decanter centrifuge is used to separate out those finer solids with higher rotating speed.
4. GN Mud Tank
GN desander, desilter and those 2 sets decanter centrifuges are mounted on two separated mud tanks. After treated by this mud system, clean mud is stocked in the centrifuge mud tank and can be used in the drilling again.
