Unique GN Dewatering System

GN provides customdewatering systems designed to keep drilling fluids in good condition at all times and reduces disposal cost. Each unit can be driven by a simple control panel to provide the operator with the most efficient way that processing drilling fluid.

GN dewatering systems deliver drilling fluid through a shale shaker, a desander and a decanter centrifuge. Initially, drilling fluid passes through the GN linear motion shale shaker, which is able to remove coarse sized solid and large particles than 75 microns, depending on the API number screen being used. And subsequently drilling fluid will be pumped to the desander for further removal of fine solid which is between 40 to 74 microns.

Conventional process of drilling fluids will be completed after shale shaker and desander. However, there are some ultra-fine coagulation in the drilling fluids. They are stable and uniformly dispersed in the fluids. The higher content of colloidal particle, the lower of drilling bit ROP (Rate of Penetration). It is also acknowledged that removing those stable solids become a hard work.

GN dewater system successfully resolve the problem. After shaker and desander process, drilling will be pumped to GN dewatering unit and subsequently chemically treated including dilution and flocculation stage. Dilution stage will lower the concentrations of fine solids, and flocculation stage is capable of aggregating the ultra-fine solids to larger size solids. After GN chemical treatment, GN decanter centrifuge is capable of further separating colloidal particle in order to provide a complete clean drilling fluid. GN dewatering system effectively improves the condition of drilling fluids and small footprint. GN dewatering system is normally mounted in the 40 feet container for easily transporting.
