GN Solids Control has been developing different solids separation equipment for different industries, especially for Oil and Gas where there are applications with very particular components where any separation equipment cannot work, compared to this GN has extensive experience in Solids Control. and Waste Management has successfully developed the Vertical Clippings Dryer for OBM (Oil Based Mud) and SBM (Synthetic Based Mud) workers.
The GN Vertical cutting Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry drilled solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel mesh bowl catches "wet" solids and revs them up to 900 RPM with a 420G G-force. The liquid is forced through the openings in the screen bowl, while "dry" solids are drawn out by the angled stubs attached to the cone, which rotate slightly more slowly than the bowl. Tungsten carbide protects flights from abrasive solids and ensures long life. This helps maintain a consistent gap between the parchment and the screen bowl, which is crucial for proper operation.
Rotor flights are up against HRC 65, with a longer life than our competitors.
Flights and rotor assembly are individually balanced for future replacement.

APPLICATION OF VERTICAL CUT DRYER:
GNCD930 Vertical Cutting Dryer is used to take drilling fluids from drilling cuttings. It is to maximize the recycling of drilling fluids and minimize drilling waste to save costs for operators.
1) For oil-based drilling cuttings, you can normally reduce the oil in the cuttings to 3% to 5%.
2) For waterborne cuts, you can usually reduce the moisture content to very low, which is easier for transport.
3) Recycling drilling fluids for reuse to save costs.
4) Reduce the amount of drilling waste to save money on disposal or further treatment.
