Decanter Centrifuge

GN Decanter Centrifuge is also called Horizontal Screw Decanter Centrifuge, which is a widely used in solids and liquid separation industries. GN manufactures different rotating bowl sizes of decanter centrifuges include: 9 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch , 22 inch and 30 inch. Classified by the treating target, GN decanter centrifuge can be divided into 3 types: Dewatering Centrifuge, Classifying Centrifuge and Thickening Centrifuge.
  • Description

    Dewatering Decanter Centrifuge (T Series)

    Separation Decanter Centrifuge (Y Series)

Clarifying Decanter Centrifuge ( C Series)

    3 Phase Decanter Centrifuge

The full name of the decanter centrifuge is the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge, which is a widely used equipment in the field of industrial solid-liquid separation. According to the characteristics of different materials in different industries, GN decanter centrifuge is divided into dewatering, separation, and clarifying decanter centrifuge. With centripetal pump technology, GN decanter centrifuge can also realize the 3-phase separation of liquid, liquid, and solids.

    GN Decanter Centrifuge Features

Series/Type Beach Angle Centrifuge Applicable Material Features
T Series Dewatering Type 8.5° T series dewatering type decanter centrifuge is usually used to remove liquid from solid phase materials. It is designed for easy separation material include large particle size, high density difference of solid and liquid, low viscosity, high concentration, high treatment capacity and higher dryness than clarity. The materials like sludge or wastewater containing fine particles usually need to be added with flocculants to gather the fine particles condensed into large ones, and then dewatered with T series decanter centrifuge.
Y Series Separation Type 15° Y series separation type decanter centrifuge combines the advantages of T series dewatering centrifuge and C series clarifying centrifuge. It is designed not only for the clarity of liquid phase after separation, but also the dryness of solid phase. Y Series separation decanter centrifuge is especially suitable for fine soft material separation. It is usually used in soft materials which are difficult to separate. It suits for material of small particles, small density difference in solid-liquid, large viscosity and small concentration.
C Series Clarifying Type 20° C series clarifying type decanter centrifuge is generally used for materials that are difficult to separate, have small particles, small solid-liquid density differences, moderate viscosity, moderate concentration, and require high clarity of clear liquid.
SX Series 3-Phase Type According to material The design of 3-Phase horizontal decanter centrifuge is mainly used for solid-liquid-liquid 3-phase separation. It is required that the solid phase is heavier than the liquid phase, the two liquid phases are Immiscible with different densities.

As a leading manufacturer of decanter centrifuges, GN pays attention to product quality and considers the long-term benefits of users. In the selection of raw materials for decanter centrifuges, high-quality centrifugal casting or forging stainless steel materials are used, and for wearing parts, hard alloy protection is used. GN high-end CNC lathes, CNC centers, and CNC gantry milling machines can better ensure the machining accuracy of centrifuge parts. In terms of the dynamic balance of the decanter centrifuge, in addition to the ordinary low and medium speed dynamic balance, GN also applies a high speed dynamic balance process, which can dynamically balance the centrifuge screw and bowl at the actual working speed of the centrifuge. In terms of market applications, GN decanter centrifuges are widely used in the industry, and the products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions in the world, and have won high praise from customers.
